Jolley Gosnold
Jolley is a director and writer for stage and screen.
Also a passionate about participation and education, he has worked with people of all ages across the UK and Europe. He is currently Theatre Associate at Alexandra Palace developing new work and artists, as well as Director of the Young Actors Company. He was previously Head of Acting at Amplified Arts Academy, and has taught at some of the UK’s finest Drama Schools including Drama Centre London, Drama Studio London, and The Actors Centre.
Previous directing credits include: Fragments (Alexandra Palace Theatre), An Enemy of the People (The Playground Theatre), An Honourable Man (The White Bear), The Infinity Mirror (Platform Theatre).
Assistant Directing credits include: Hamlet (Octagon Theatre Bolton), Therese Raquin (Southwark Playhouse), The Caucasian Chalk Circle (Platform Theatre).
Jolley’s screen credits include short films (Alba - 2021, The Course of True Love - 2018, Chocolate Cake - 2017) Commercials (OPTO - VR, London Carols), as well as music videos and promotional videos.
Jolley was previously Associate Director (New Work) and dramaturg for Secret/Heart Theatre.
In 2014, Jolley founded Global English Theatre, a theatre and education company that runs workshops and theatrical tours across Italy, sharing the English language and hopefully spreading a few smiles along the way.
